Dry Needling
Relieve Pain. Restore Movement. Recover Faster.
Dry needling is an advanced treatment used to relieve muscle pain, reduce tension, and improve mobility. Using a thin, sterile needle, trigger points within tight or irritated muscles are stimulated to help reduce pain, improve function, and promote the body’s natural healing response.
At Hall Chiropractic Sports & Injury Clinic, dry needling is often combined with chiropractic care, rehabilitation exercises, soft tissue therapy, and other treatments to help patients recover from injuries and return to their normal activities as quickly as possible.
Conditions That May Benefit from Dry Needling
- Neck pain and headaches.
- Back pain and sciatica.
- Shoulder pain and rotator cuff injuries.
- Tennis elbow and golfer’s elbow.
- Hip and knee pain.
- Plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendon pain.
- Muscle strains and sports injuries.
- Chronic muscle tightness and trigger points.
What to expect
After a thorough evaluation, your doctor will determine whether dry needling is appropriate for your condition. Treatment typically takes only a few minutes. Some patients experience a brief muscle twitch during treatment, followed by reduced muscle tension and improved movement. Mild soreness for 24–48 hours afterward is normal and similar to what you might feel after a workout.
Is Dry Needling Right for You?
If you’ve been dealing with persistent muscle tightness, recurring pain, limited mobility, or an injury that isn’t improving as expected, dry needling may be an effective part of your treatment plan. Every patient receives an individualized evaluation to determine the best course of care.
